1. Legal basis for processing
We process personal data in accordance with the Law of Ukraine “On the Protection of Personal Data” No. 2297-VI, the Law of Ukraine “On Information”, the Law of Ukraine “On Charitable Activities and Charitable Organisations”, and — for donors from the European Union — the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The grounds for processing are your consent, the need to fulfil the foundation’s obligations, and the requirements of applicable law.
2. What data we collect
2.1. Data you provide voluntarily
- first and last name (optional) when making a donation or an enquiry;
- contact details: email address, phone number;
- the amount and purpose of the donation;
- the content of your enquiries to the foundation.
2.2. Data collected automatically
- IP address, browser and device type, operating system;
- cookies and data about the pages you view;
- anonymous visit statistics (where analytics services are used).
3. How we use the data
We process your data solely for the lawful purposes of the foundation:
- processing and confirming donations;
- sending acknowledgements, reports and replies to enquiries;
- keeping accounting and statutory records;
- informing you about the foundation’s activities and projects (only with your consent);
- ensuring the operation, security and improvement of the Website;
- complying with the requirements of Ukrainian law.
4. Payment processing
Online donations are made through the secure payment service WayForPay. Your bank card details are entered on the payment provider’s side and processed by it in accordance with the international security standard PCI DSS. The foundation does not receive or store your full card number, CVV code or other payment credentials. We only receive confirmation that the payment was made and its amount.
5. Cookies
The Website uses cookies to work correctly, remember your settings and collect anonymous statistics. You can disable or delete cookies in your browser settings, but this may affect some functions of the Website.
6. Sharing data with third parties
We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Data may be transferred only to:
- payment systems — to process donations;
- providers of technical services (hosting, email delivery, analytics) — to the extent necessary to provide the service;
- state authorities — solely in cases provided for by Ukrainian law.
7. Retention period
